Technical architecture

The integration solution MEDTERA Region is a JavaEE application. An important feature is the support of the "cloud" infrastructure and the virtualization of the hardware and software platform with the ability to access "on demand" based on the recommendation of IETF, W3C, OASIS, OGF, SNIA, WS-I, TM Forum.

 

As an application server can be used:

  • any of IBM's WebShere line

  • Oracle WebLogic 10 Application Server (Oracle Suite 10)

  • SPO JBOSS.

 

As a DBMS:

  •  Microsoft SQL 2005 and 2008

Data management

In its composition, the solution MEDTERA Region contains integrate special modules for centralized management of "master" data, tracking the receipt and distribution across all related information systems. An important feature is the data management, regardless of the location of the systems and sources of information.

The modules automatically receive an update from the official reference information, check mutual links in subordinate directories and inform dependent information systems about the need to update these data.

On the toolkit of the solution, you can develop special data adapter programs for those systems that do not have mechanisms for loading external directories or for developers who have difficulties with supporting current versions and formats of the NSI. The platform already has several download adapters for popular medical information systems.

Data management also includes quality control. The solution includes special tools that facilitate the identification of basic data. Using special procedures, you can select common features and remove duplicates.
